• UV Protection: Yarn count and construction determines the amount of light that passes through fabric. Our swim shorts are made from fine, compactly woven polyester that provides UV protection with a UPF 40 rating that blocks out more than 90% of harmful UV rays.
• Recycled polyester: Recycled polyester is derived from waste products (for example, pre-consumer mill waste and post-consumers’ discarded PET bottles). By recycling, we reduce the amount of waste going to landfills and conserve natural resources like oil, while reducing our carbon and energy footprints too. All our polyester is GRC certified.
• Quick Dry: The hydrophobic properties of our finely constructed polyester yarns are enhanced with a chemical treatment that allows water to run off the surface for quick-drying comfort.
